Initial Assessments are completed by registered members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Our comprehensive assessment is the first step towards a greater understanding of your symptoms, a diagnosis (if desired) and/or a customized training program to help you achieve your goals. 

 

The following measures are included:

• Standardized computerized tests measuring attention, impulse control, drifting attention and reaction time -Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA) and Integrated Auditory and Visual continuous performance test (IVA) 

• Neurocognitive Test Battery measuring executive function, memory, social acuity, attention, cognitive flexibility and processing speed

• EEG Assessment – measuring brainwave patterns  

• Clinical Interview including discussion of results

The results of these tests provide the ADD Centre with the information needed to set up a tailored program for you or your child. The goal of the program is to learn how to become, focused, calm and relaxed.
